I am visiting NOLA Feb 26th- 29th one of many trips and I would love to know about any your events during that time or other hot spots - I heard the Shim Sham club closed :0( Does anyone know about the Godzilla Club/or Bar. Some friends told me some SF people were involved.

    hmm, i must be outta the loop, cuz i've never heard of that place (godzilla club). you will be visitng the weekend right AFTER mardi gras, you realize, so it's liable to be a very slow weekend as folks are still recuperating. if you're into films, that weekend is the Reel Identities: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Film Festival, however. i'm involved with it... and there's gonna be some great movies shown. other than that i have no idea what to tell you. we don't have any shows going on during that time because of the film fest and since it's right after mardi gras... sorry.

    Friday from 8-10pm at Dragon's Den (435 Esplanade). All are welcome. No cover--and they serve food and sake.
